Despite the cheerful reunion, Iyabo reminded Fola that he missed Tumi’s wedding. After declining her offer of juice, Fola apologised, and the conversation shifted to more serious matters. Iyabo expressed her concern about her children: Mide’s sentencing, Tumi’s recent marriage, and Ebun’s upcoming university admission. Fola reassured her, emphasising that her daughters were doing well. However, they both acknowledged that Mide’s situation remained a major concern. Fola also shared exciting news: he had become the leader of the Osun State Association of Miners, showing a newspaper article as proof. Iyabo congratulated him and offered her prayers for his success, but she also warned him not to let Wura, Tumi’s mother, get too close.

Tumi Faces Challenges with Family Traditions
Meanwhile, Tumi’s transformation into married life takes a twist. Now dressed in Iro and Buba, Tumi surprised her husband, Jeje. He questioned her change in attire, and Tumi explained that her grandmother encouraged her to dress modestly. Concerned that Grandma was overstepping, Jeje made it clear that Tumi was his wife, not a servant, but Tumi brushed off his concerns and proceeded to prepare breakfast, leaving Jeje visibly frustrated.
Mide and Ebun Clash
Elsewhere in the house, Mide and Ebun engaged in a heated argument over what they were watching on TV. Ebun claimed to have seen a snake, while Mide disagreed. The argument escalated when Ebun revealed her plans to stay in a hostel after gaining admission to university. Mide opposed the idea, fearing she might be influenced by “uncultured boys.” Despite the tension, Iyabo, distracted by her thoughts, ultimately sided with Ebun, leaving Mide feeling upset and powerless, thereby bruising his ego.
Family Breakfast Turns Sour
During breakfast, the tension in the house continued to build. Grandma criticized Tumi’s efforts at serving tea, deeming it not hot enough. Jeje defended his wife, reminding Grandma that Tumi was not their maid. The friction escalated when Grandma criticised Tumi’s cooking, prompting Wura to express her frustration over the constant bickering in the household. The relentless pressure from Grandma led Jeje to contemplate moving out of the family home.
Ewa’s Struggles and Fola’s Rise
Meanwhile, Ewa’s life seemed to spiral as she lamented her lack of direction compared to Tumi, who had married into wealth. In a surprising moment, Ewa opened a beer bottle with her teeth, shocking Paulina and Kazeem. Kazeem made a crude remark, suggesting that Ewa needed good sex to solve her problems, which she dismissed. The conversation took a turn when Fola walked in, proudly announcing his new position as Chairman of the Miners Association. Sensing an opportunity, Ewa offered her PR services to him, which Fola said he’d consider.
Lolu and Kanyinsola’s Ambitions
In another scene, Lolu and Kanyinsola were hard at work on an auction project for Wura. They discussed their ambitions to raise millions through the auction, with Kanyinsola pushing Lolu to aim higher. They also debated whether to use regular models instead of celebrities to keep the focus on their work and avoid distractions.
Fola Proposes to Iyabo
In a surprising twist, Fola proposed to Iyabo, catching her completely off guard. However, she swiftly rejected his proposal, criticising him for disappearing when her family needed him most. Despite his attempts to express how deeply he cared for her, Iyabo was not convinced, leaving their relationship in doubt.
A Painful Breakfast as Tumi Struggles to Please Grandma
Tumi’s frustrations with Grandma continued to mount, especially after another clash over how to properly make a bed. Grandma criticised Tumi at every turn, leaving her feeling dejected. Later, Tumi shared a laugh with Kanyinsola about Grandma’s strict behaviour, but they were quickly corrected by Grandma again, reinforcing the tense atmosphere in the house.
Ewa’s Jealous Heart and Desperate Longing for More
Dimeji and Ebun’s Farewell
Meanwhile, Dimeji and Ebun crossed paths, with Dimeji expressing that he was happy for Tumi despite their past. Ebun, excited about her university admission, bid Dimeji farewell, though he seemed hurried to leave.
Family Conflict Resurfaces
Back at the house, the sibling rivalry between Mide and Ebun resurfaced, with Mide warning her that she might fail if she didn’t take his advice seriously. Iyabo intervened, urging Mide to stop using negative words. The argument was interrupted when Tumi unexpectedly returned home, explaining that Grandma had sent her back to learn some manners. Despite Grandma’s concerns, Iyabo welcomed Tumi back with open arms, prompting Mide to joke that Tumi had been returned to her mother.
